SS is a therapy for some in a small but significant way. I have seen threads started on a member questioning joining the armed forces. Members getting dumbed my girlfriends. Family members that pass away. Forums such as SS go beyond just written thoughts and conversations. There is SS meets. Neal hosts work days at the Cavalla. I have met a few at the Torsk. For most I believe SS is very much more than just a forum. Hell, SS with the help of a few members got me to stop smoking. That in itself is a feat!
