I cant be the only one that gets tired of hearing the navigator say plotting coarse, plotting coarse, plotting coarse. Can someone make the guy shut up?

GREAT idea mate! Can you make a mod so when you get tired of hearing the navigator you can punch him in the face, and then he will be quiet for the rest of the game?

go to data/cfg
choose MESSAGE_NA

Find

Timeout=20
Param0=1
MsgOgg0_0=MC_CR_NAV_23; New waypoint. Course:
Param1=1
MsgOgg1_0=0;Bearing Digit-Digit-Digit.

and change Param0=1 to Param0=0... and same thing with Param1=1
No more COUEARSE!)))

I have an easier way.....I turn down or turn off the speakers on my laptop.

Just pause the game while you plot.

Get him a new ruler, then maybe he can make you a fine plot.

Another way is time compression, that'll shut him up when you plot the course.

Anyway, Amadeus's post #5 does the job. I've created a JSGME version and installed it. No more "Plotting Course"
