Extended camping trips have always been accompanied by the dreaded 'flannel bath'. Takes a couple of litres of water (hot or cold, depending on your choice/means/bravery), bar of soap and a rough flannel. It's not pretty, especially if the water is cold (the only time you'll hear jumpy squealing like a girl), but it does the job.
Mind you, if it's camping, I seem to follow the spartan backpacking ideal of minimal kit and not minding roughing it for a week or two.

When I used to go to derbyshire to stay at my grandparents caravan, we always used to go to the swimming baths a couple of times a week - have shower first, swim, then rinse.

Couple you post a link to the said shower?

I've recently gotten my wife into camping, and while my idea of roughing it is a tarp, a pad, and a bivy sack/sleeping bag.... she needed a tent "she could stand up in". Geesh. So i ended up with the Kelty Green River 4. Sleeps about 10, rated for 4 . Solid 3 season 'family' tent on a budget (about $225).

I've been on the lookout for a decent shower type system, and good ratings is a plus!

Heh, just found the OP.

That is a cool thing!. We're looking at building a teardrop camper from the ground up and that might fit the bill nicely for hot water on demand!!

Hah, my ex was like that - you should have heard the moaning about how small the tent is 'ooh, and I can't stand up in it' ungrateful bitch. I should have made her sleep outside in the rain, might have changed her tune, one way or another.
