Does this happen if you start a new profile?

Bit of a long shot, but I'm wondering if your game saves are corrupt.

I not only start a new career, but an entirely new profile when changing my mods around. The SH series has always been kind of wonky with file conflicts.

As I said , it was a long shot. I think maybe it's time to re-install the game, unless of course anyone else has any ideas?

Again? I just started over my career for the 3rd time. I,m not about to restart it once again. I almost finished happy times for the 3rd time. And since the replayability is about 0 in the campaing i,m not about to do that.

It's a virtual memory issue. Is has been discussed here before and solutions have been given.

If you have 32bit Windows Vista or Windows 7, enable the 3GB switch.

As luck would have it I saved the link ages ago thinking "that might come in handy one day"
