Is there no way of removing the Slideout Compass???

Dear Hitman and Sailor Steve,

Thanks very much for your responses.

Hitman, I am trying to remove it from my SHIII with GWX3. So any help would be great.

Sailor Steve, I had already found the thread you kindly provided and tried this but I ended up with crashes on start up (I wonder what I may have done wrong

). The only thing I can think of is that I could not go directly into my C:/ and make changes in my cfg files (I was having to 'save as' and then copy and paste back into my C

. I now have a compass that slides out but is non functional.

Any advice greatly appreciated Karleuns.
