It is sometimes attached to the belly of the aircraft and gives it an astounding range on the order of 20,000 miles here is a pic of it. Pretty impressive. though it is quite cost prohibitive I've heard.

On the other hand, even if you could what would be the point? I think I read somewhere that some guy did it a long time ago.
