You can still play the free weekend version in offline mode, no "rules" against it. You just can't update the game.

Eh that's alright, frankly I was getting bored with the game, and anoyed that I had tones of redstone, but hardly any iron, even after massive amounts of mining.
Plus I have other games to play, and no time anyhow. My current schedule is nuts; I do full 4th year university course load (30-40 hours), plus 15-20 hours of volunteer & payed service at a psychiatric leisure center, plus another 10-15 hours of research work (scholarship) in a lab, and about 10 hours of travel time. That totals about 85 hours a week, and I am not counting all the little tasks and jobs and chores for day to day life. |

I have my own forest between the end of the Hindenburg, and my castle. You can see the part of the foliage in one of the screens. Somewhere between 25-30 trees. Its just cleaning up to replant is a pain. I usually set a brush fire to clear the foliage left over.
I just feel too lazy to do the work. Especially when I can be playing DA:O or ETW instead.

Step one back up your world (just in case). Enter your game save and place 1 ingot of Iron in each inventory slot. Save & Exit. Get a copy of NBTedit. Open your level.dat and navigate & expand the section called "Inventory", each entry represents one slot in your inventory. Expand the section labbled as "4 Entries" and look at the Count entry. It should read 1, double click and enter 64, press enter. Repeat this for every Inventory entry slot down the list, then save. Load the game and find every inventory slot now showing Iron Ingots x 64. ![]() ![]() Of course, if you're playing legitimately, I was never here and you saw nothing.

Ouch, sounds like something I wouldn't want to experience! For me school currently takes about the same amount of hours, but the subjects vary a lot. Shooting, combat training and other kinds of practical and physical excercises provide a nice change for all the theory. Currently computer games don't really fit this schedule except for Minecraft and Widelands, both of which are great if you can't afford to play for hours at a time. Take 15 minutes here and there and the game doesn't suffer at all, something that wouldn't really work with Arma2 or SH4.

Fair enough, got some digging to do then.
While I'm here, who knows what the different colours represent on the Cave renders from Cartograph?

I assume Depth. Red is closer to the surface, dark blue is closer to the bottom. ![]()

The color is actually the amount of light. Blue = dark, red = max. amount of light. Atleast, my mine shaft has red dots on certain intervals, which correspond to the placement of my torches.

For those who aren't following the forums, here's a neat little site where you can customize your texture pack from quite a few choices:
http://painterlypack.net/ The size of the textures is the default MC size, which means that Doku's pack still probably looks the best resolution wise. |

Forget the zombies, spiders, silly jumping cactus things etc that can hurt you. Beware the cute looking sheep that drown you while you're busy in the inventory.
