Damn thats expensive for Britain, I was in a that pub under the Savoy a couple of weeks back which I expected to be top London prices and it was only £2.85.

It's the reason we still have all of those canals full of rubbish and rusty shopping trolleys, it's less about ambiance, more the need for more steam. It's what powers the city council buildings and the dss offices and the job centre, don't cha know

I assume you're talking about the 568mL pint? In the Netherlands we use 220ml glasses, in our faculty's pub it's €0,42 a beer, so that's about £0.89 a pint. Or 30 beer (=12 pints) for €10 (= £8.50)

Outside of the campus, the cheapest I know is about £1.63 a pint.
