True, but eventually you'd figure out what the reports and such mean if you hear them enough and can relate to what is going on in-game

If he knows english well, which Im sure he does, hearing the report then reading the english does him better. Either that or living in German culture for about 5 years but then that would make his ears hurt when he plays this game. (Ex. While playing SH3 it makes me annoyed when they say the depth as, Zwei Drei meters, when in reality it is said as Drei Und Zwansig meters)
