Hey Buker, i'm looking at some schematics of the Type XIV and Type X at the moment just doing the preliminaries.
But i've been working with DarkFish on creating the Biber. Check out my first post for a shot of my finished exterior of the Biber.

Hi Kapitän Schneider,

interested in technical drawings and photos of the XIV?
Would be nice to see the pregnant Uboat sailing across the screens, let me know if I could help!

One or two little errors in your first post:
Type XXIV: This type was not exactly similar to the XXI, but to the XVIII Walter submarine project (the hull design of which was taken to develop the XXI with its conventional powerplant). You are right about the "side" torpedo tubes firing towards the stern, the older XVIII had six bow tubes (like XXI).
The XXIs with "side" tubes (Schnee organ) are XXI B (6 side tubes) and XXI C (12 side tubes).
Type XXVI: Again a submarine with Walter turbine, but much smaller than XVIII, XXIV (or XXI), about the displacement of a VIIC. Only one shaft, 4 bow tubes (complete assembly taken from VIIC) , 6 side tubes, no reloads, no AA guns.
The first Type XXVI boats were actually under construction at the end of the war.
Dam your right, just looked at some of the schematics i've got, and on closer inspection the Type XXVI IS smaller than the Type XXI. I'll take your word about the Type XXIV, got very little information about it.

Is that a statement or a request about the technical drawings and photos Kurfürst? Tomw95 is currently interested in making the Milk Cow playable, and is making effort to do so.

Default Type XI U-Kreuzer

Type XI U-Kreuzer, formally hull of a Type IXD2, 15 inch guns again another piece of stock from SH3, barrels moddified slightly and turret is the 15 inch gun turret but with a duplicated turret stuck on the back.

For comparison i've added the Bismarck and a Type IXD2 (what the Type XI looked like before I applied my skills to it) the pink button looking thing on the top of the hull is the hatch for thr collapsable Arado Ar 231 floatplane.

Not bad for someone whose been working on this since monday and who only first started moddeling 3 months ago.

Hi Kapitän Schneider,

Really not a bad job!
Forward to continuing, especially the types X and XIV.
In my opinion they are more practical for games!

As I said, Type XXIV is basically a Type XVIII with additional 6 side tubes (and 10 reloads). Quite similar to XXI B or C, but with the Type XVIIIs Walter turbine powerplant instead of the large batteries and electric motors of the XXI. I don't have any plans for it.
Concerning XVIII oder XXVI, I have lots of plans and technical data.

I recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/Die-grossen-Wa...tt_at_ep_dpi_9

Hi Kapitän Schneider,

I´ve got quite a few pictures of Milkcows in action plus some "raw" technical drawings. I thougth the drawings are of a better quality than they actually are, but they´re scaled and have the realistic proportions, so they might be useful.
Please send me your email address via PM so that I can forward the pictures and drawings.

Best regards, Kurfürst

Who wants to play with my Biber?

Texturing this model has been troublesome, possibly because its my first time texturing, but I think I have done well with the shark teeth and eyes.

Anyone who would like to try their hand at texturing this send me a PM.

I was wondering if someone had knowledge they could impart on me.

If I was to measure a U-Boat's draft, do I measure it from the waterline to the bottom of the hull or keel?
