dont work still same resolution and when game start says silent hunter 3 has stopped working

The logo and vidio will still be the same size the diffrent res will start on the loading screen
Also if you get a CTD try a smaller res size if you have windows 7 what is the Recomended Screen size

for my monitor is recomended size 1920x1080

now i cant go even in a game ctd when i click on sh3 btw my comp:
amd x6 3.2ghz (6 Core)
8gb ram
Nvidia GTX 490 2 gb
5tb hard drive
24 inch monitor
Windows 7 x64
Upgrade windows 7 to windows 8 (BETA)

Display->Change resolution:
- resolution set = ???

Display->Adjust desktop size and position:

which one you have checked?
- Use Nvidia Scaling ?
- Use Nvidia Scaling with fixed-aspect Ratio ?
- Use my display's built-in scaling ?
- no scaling ?
