Juggling offices around? Crew being dead beats playing cards and sitting around in the elec engine room? Not on my boat!
This mod turns the stern torpedo room into another crew quarters so those guys above can now hang out at the back of the boat and rest up on type VII and IX boats. (Havn't tested the IX boat) Advantages - 6 extra crew slots and one officer for rest and relaxation. The Pay Off! Loading stern torpedoes does not cost fatigue. All other functions are the same as GWX 8 Hour fatigue model! This version is for standard GWX3.0 Gold. I have used this tweak so its a personal taste and feels more real than crew standing around! It works on a heavily modded SH3. At the moment im running alot h.sie's mods + my own tweaks...so my cfg,s are not stock. If theres any interest I can probably knock up a h.sie ACM and OLC gold mkIId versions! Or you can do it yourself instructions inside! *Caution* Its JSGME ready and it may ask to overwrite your basic.cfg file just hit ok. If it dont work or you get weird behaviour after installing...JSGME is your friend! Dont forget to switch back the fatigue model in SHC as well! If you dont use *SHCommander* this mod will not work for you! Download On the sig below should get you there!

S! Badger Finn
![]() Really interesting idea, I always am annoyed to have so little quarter room space available....In fact if not on duty I suppose a crew member could rest almost anywhere at least for some time. Going to try your mod tonight (La rochelle time) and give you some feed back.

Cool!
![]() Yep... but in the game they lose health/Endurance so this mod attempts to get around that so the crew off duty are fit for duty when needed and saves all that endless shuffling around. The mod alters nothing else except that theres no fatigue penalty on loading the stern torps. I can live with that! im use to the typeII boat so the quarters spaces allow for a smooth crew rotation...now I can do that in a typeVII...it should work for the IX Just be-careful with your Cfg's if your using another mod with a custom Cfg is about all that comes to mind. Thats straight forward to edit if need be. The SHC file is just like dropping Sailor Steves more ships names into SHCommander/ Cfg - let it overwrite - simple! *back up copy is advisable when modding* Any problems/ or help needed just drop a post! I'll get back ya.

Just wanted to say great idea for a mod...
The extra slots really come in handy if you're rotating full shifts. Suits my playing style nicely and fits in well with the other mods I'm working on. Thanks for seeing it through to completion. Really appreciate the effort! ![]() |
