The link looks good. Some of the links to the files are dead though. But it's helpful. Thanks U777. I like the skype session idea. Let's see who else might be interested.

Right now my main issue is calculating speed and must be doing something else wrong because some of my shots are still off even with stationary targets.

Alot of the time I skip AOB for stationary shots, just set it to 0 and it will go exactly where you aimed.

For speed I mark an X on the ships exact location, wait some time (I like 10min - 60min then mark another X on it's new position. Provided you are using GWX you should have a table that includes speed, time, distance somewhere on the map screen, take your ruler and draw a line from the amount of time you used, and drag it to the distance the ship traveled. If you follow the Ruler line you will see that speed is on the left/bottom line, whatever speed is along the line you drew is how fast the ship is moving.

ps, three missed because I forgot to adjust spread angle, the solution was still correct

Even better method of figuring out speed. Just note the distance the target moves over 3 minutes 15 seconds, then divide the metres moved by 100, and you have the speed in knots.

eg. A ship moves 700m in 3 minutes 15 seconds, which means it is moving at 7 knots.

I'll try both methods posted here. Still practicing with the navel academy though
