Thanks Oscar, I agree, unless its something like GWX, this game is doomed..

All these small little small mods that you have to install are doing nothing much to improve this game..

I thought for sure there would be a major improvement.. but it doesn't look like it yet.. I'll give it another 3 or so months and check back, other wise, what could of been a great game, will finally go in the garbage!

That's pretty insulting to the modders that do all the work; something I'm sure they'll keep in mind the next time you come back to seek their help.

Actually, it's really hard remembering. Just too many of them.

I will nominate Post 15 for the SH5 funniest post when Mod of the Year nominations are tabled. Ducimus knows a softball when he sees it.

The contents is not the biggest issue atm. We need to get a working game first. I have alot of bugs I want to report to ubi. I did that before 1.2 patch came, they dont seem very interested btw. Maybe they are lazy, I don't know.

It would be cool to edit those .ogg files and add in some silent hunter 2 music into the game. That would be a cool mod to begin with.

Something like this

I would also favor changing some of the sound in game. Many of the sounds are very annoying.

Well then.. I guess you should run back to SH3 like all the others that bash this game and all the work the Modders have put into it.. Honestly the amount of negativity that this game recieves ..

If all of that went into actually working on Mods and utilities to work with GR2 files (as privateer is doing) then the game would probably skyrocket.

Just so I don't have to say I told you so when SH5 blows you all away.. HAR HAR

Cheers,

Krauter

Way to go - how to belittle all the hard work done by the modders so far.

Are you aware of how long this game has been available?

Are you aware of how long it took for a supermod to be developed for SH3?

Somehow I doubt it.....

Or start learning how to do it yourself. If everybody who whined about how the modders (who work for free out of their love for the game) had let them down and started to learn how hard it is, maybe things would get done faster.

Couldn't have put it better myself m8

I know my account with subsim is new and all but after playing the mods for SH3 and 4 I have to say that I love the work these guys put into improving the game.

Keep up the good work peeps, your modding is more than welcomed by those who appreciate your efforts
