I wonder, since this game seems to be based on actually locations and conflicts, if this means there will not be giant space lasers, or things of that nature.

I hope they're still in the game, because I loved the mission in Ace Combat 5 where you had to intercept the Laser platform thing and shoot it down.

So is it Russia or Cuba as the bad guys.

Considering how neither country has the ability to invade, I suppose the game is in some sort of fantasy land.
