Well you have a better card/ram than I am using at the moment (zotac 210, 6gb OCZ 1600mhz) I have to wait for my pump to get here before I can install the 480's and the dominators (water cooled heatspreaders )

In my opinion Nvidia is better for EVERYTHING. They have better drivers, more supported games, and they are cheaper. I found that ATI has been slipping latley, and I never used to like Nvidia but now it is all I would ever buy and I don't ever plan on buying ATI again.

This isn't a biased opinion either, in fact I never had any problems in the past with ATI cards until the 5*** series came out, it was the old Nvidia cards that gave me trouble.

The new Nvidia cards also support 3D vission surround, which destroys ATI's eyefinity both in terms of quality and supported games.

Now these are my opinions and I expect others to have entirly different views, which I would like to hear.

I would agree with most of the above because I've only ever had one none Nvidia card which happened to be an ATI early series (can't remember the series now) and that had problems running SH3

I moved up tp a Nvidia 7800GS and still have it on my old system.

My new system has the ATI HD5750 because I left it to my retailer....so fingers crossed

you know, as I was writing that I was remembering that you said you were grabbing an ati

Anyway, I haven't heard anything about that card, but the 5970's (especially the way over sized/priced models) have had some problems
