I suppose I could try these questions: What is the maximum depth you can go before the dice start rolling? And what would the absolute maximum be even if you were to get lucky and roll a double 6?

Just don't go looking in the various submarine NSS CFG files and take the MaxDepth figure of 500 meters as anything like believable
