Krauter,

I'm gathering like any war patrol they would have consolidated all documentation for that patrol and archived it. Prior to that; I reckon the staffing officers of the U-boat would have used the information to back-brief the chain of command and technicians in relation to malfunctions, stoppage drills on the deck gun, AA guns and especially the torpedoes.

I use the documents as a gauge to see if improvements are achieved on patrols as the war goes on, having raw data to look at in a holistic picture provides you with a accurate snapshot on how good your crew/your command decisions were throughout each and every patrol.

Kind Regards Venatore (U-657)

Good to see you post again Venatore.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to download this from Strategy Informer, it says it can't find the file, which is a pity, as this seems to be right up my street.

Thanks for posting in any case, I'll certainly download if/when the file becomes available again.

Hope we also get more offerings from the bunker in the future too.

Forgive my ignorance ... but as it is installed, and especially what it does and how it is used, as it seems a good mod.

Sentenc3,

Hi Matey, these documents are only for you to fill in whilst on patrol. These don't go into any of the game folders, just print them off and use them as hard copy Reports and Returns.

Kind Regards

  • Torpedo_Cruise_loop_hyd.wav
  • Torpedo_dud_hyd.wav
  • I would like to thank SubSim community member "SquareSteelBar" for helping me in my endeavors in tracking down a particular hydrophone audio file which for me was one of the key sounds for this mod. "SquareSteelBar" I thank you for coming to my aid & providing the missing piece to my mod.
  • All Audio files contained within this mod were created & modded by Venatore (exempt the creation of "Scufundare vapor_hyd.wav").
  • I would also like to take this opportunity to advise the SubSim community that the audio file called "Scufundare vapor_hyd.wav" contained within this mod was not created by me. This particular eerie ship sinking sound featured in the Silent Hunter III GWX Mega Mod and was the sound used in the move "Das Boot", I do not know who the original creator of the Das Boot Scufundare vapor_hyd.wav file was, but; thank you who ever you are.
  • This Mod should be used in conjunction with my mod called "German U-Boat Internal Routine SFX".
  • This mod is JSGME compatible.
  • This mod is zipped with WinRAR.

Kind Regards

can i use the German U-Boat Crew Language Pack with Might fine crew and new_UI_TDC and what order should i install these mods? I noticed it has a conflict with those two mods in JSGME. sorry if this has already been covered in a different thread, I didn't see this info anywhere.

thanks!

RAF Fighter Command Radio Frequency 66.00 MHz

RAF Fighter Command Radio Frequency 66.00 MHz

  • BDU has released the “RAF Fighter Command” radio frequency to all U-Boats with effect immediately. Please advise your radio operator’s to scan to 66.00 MHz.
  • The frequency audio file is approximately 15 minutes in length.
  • This audio was created by an unknown modder for IL-2 Sturmovik community many years ago. I have manipulated the audio to be compatible with Silent Hunter V.
  • This audio file was merged & modded by Venatore
  • This mod is JSGME compatible.
  • This mod is zipped with WinRAR.

Thank you for downloading this mod
