73.000 sites shut down, for how many suspected/known of violators?

On the surface, it appears to be a dangeriouse presedent to be setting.

Is this the greatest crimmal sweep in history, or the actions of a government gone crimminal?
(Just questions that come to mind. Scary stuff, either way.)

I like MoS's approach

Lawyers for UK dance music label Ministry of Sound have issued thousands of letters to British filesharers this month demanding compensation for alleged copyright theft.
The letters threaten recipients with immediate court action unless they pay immediate compensation in the region of £350.
