If I got to build my own home I would use my own electric generator as much from renewable energy sources such as wind and the sun(with solar panel) and store them in battery cells, recycle my own water and store rain water and probably process it too . . . .

Ummm . . . . . .

nah not because I'm green but because the utility companies sucks your money dry here and give a bad service(power outages, etc) LoL.
