I'm finding the search feature to be incredibly difficult to use now. The catchawhatever images are virtually impossible for humans to read (I had to try 6 times to get one to accept it, meaning it was turning ME into a spammer) and the whole search process has now turned into more trouble than it's worth. This can only be a bad thing.

Neal,
I'm going to go along with the objections to string verification. Suggestion: enlarge the image box. You get to keep the search verification, we get to keep our eyesight and personal dignity by getting the correct "code" on the first try.

Retrieve the search results from the database with AJAX. It's unlikely that bots have JavaScript interpreters implemented.
