Also ....never saved submerged.
I've gotten the advice about not saving near damaged or sunken ships, but I've not heard that a player shouldn't save while submerged.

Why for? How come?

It was a bug with SH3 (or was it SH4?? cant remember) where if you saved submerged, when you reloaded the game your sub would sink quickly to crush depth and you died.

Just to be on the safe side if this bug traveled to SH5...I woudlnt save submerged.

****SPOILER ALERT****

@Zekicoli... The AMC ships can be found just outside of Loch Ewe. That is were they spawn. The carrier can be found at Portsmouth in the English channel. Wait for them to start out on thier routes before sinking them , if you torpedo them while they are stationary in port you will get no credit.

Yes. You dont have to finish the previous mission to move to the next. People say that the NEXT mission (if you dont finish the previous) will be harder with more escorts and such. Now SOME missions DO require you to finish all of the previous in the dates given (example Operation Drumbeat).

Have I said recently I HATE these scripted, "must finish" missions...

LOL..no...but I feel they take the freedom away from the player. Missions should have been limited to "Patrol XX grid" like SH3 was. Instead we now are forced to go on a treasure hunt to find the ONE type of ship that needs to be sunk, which is historical bollocks.
