I'll probably release a package this week-end.

Oh and BTW, is there a better way to look at the emblems on the fly rather than always restarting SH5 which takes AGES? At least, SH4 didn't require you to restart the whole thing to look at the textures, just reload the game.

Nice . Time to stick my Avatar on the side of the tower.

Yeah, I have been thinking about putting my signature pic on the side of the tower.

I don't want to cause you more work. However, if you want to, I would be grateful for the time you would be saving me. If so, can you get the image in high enough quality right from my sig? Keep up the good work by the way.

Looks a great mod!

On a side note, it is nice to see the anti swastika lobby has cooled down a little. When I was last here every other post was moaning that swastika's shouldn't be shown despite the fact that they were historically accurate. Well done on a very classy mod!!

All looking good - question - is a user able to choose to have the emblem on either side of the conning tower on a single emblem at the front - I notice in your screenies you have embelems on the front and side - how id this controlled

Regards

It depends on the type of Turm you are using.

The pictures you mention with the emblem at the front were taken with a stock VIIA Turm. I do not know how it is controlled though I think it has something to do with the Turm 3d file but I'm not sure.

Also note that the VIIA displays the emblem on the front but mirrors the image. I'm currently testing if a mirrored emblem would appear un-mirrored, and if successfull, I'll release a fix for this.

The other Turm I used is the VIIB version 2. Also take in notice that, when using this Turm, and pretty much all the other Turms that are similar to this one, the game reflects the emblems pretty much like SH4, so one side is good, the other is mirrored. They are not applied the same way as SH3.

What an interesting observation. I've been here eight years now and I doubt I've seen more than three or four people complain about swastikas that whole time. When SH3 was released one of the first mods (maybe the very first) put the swastika on the German flags. Acclamation was universal. Everybody wanted it.

I've seen one person complain recently, but that's hardly "every other post". How did I miss all these posts?

SteelViking, your Emblem is completed.

Would you prefer it standalone or included with the package?

Thanks man Feel free to include it right with the mod, but it would be nice if you credited me for the original.

Thanks again
