I am totally puzzled!
Well, I'd like to get the most "cost-efficient" mods combination but I cannot find such one. Now we have basically three super-mods (GFO, TMO, RFB) and two campaigns (RSRDC and OM with OMEGU add-on). The pain in the ass is that they are not compatible each other so if I want to play campaigns on both sides using fixed by supermods game features but without switching mods instantly with JGSME it is very hard to choose proper mods set. What are your combos??? |

Keep your installed SH4+UBM as is. Do not use it... other than a clean "back-up"...
Take a copy of entire install for each mod you want to use and rename the copied folder to like "SH4 TMO", SH4 RFB" etc. Then get a copy of MultiSH4 and copy it to each of the modinstalls and run it. Default document folder for SH is SH4, so just change those three to like TMO, RFB etc. and volia! ![]() You can run anything anytime with no conflict and no shuffling mods around! ![]() |

RSRDC works with RFB and TMO (also perhaps GFO). The rest of the super mods are best used with seperate installs as Jan Kyster says. You want to make sure you keep all your campaign saves seperate, as they won't work without the corresponding super mod.

I will think about separate installs but now I must decide if play Fleet Boats or U-boat more...
![]() Now it seems four separate installs are optimal: 1. GFO+RSRDC 2. RFB+RSRDC 3. TMO+RSRDC 4. OM+OMEGU EDIT: Well, finally I chose options: 1, 2, 4. I will wait for Duci's refurbished Type IXD2 mod and install TMO+DNT as a fourth option then. Last edited by Gorshkov; 07-02-10 at 11:47 AM. |
