Ya lucky bugga
 The only time you have a chance of receiving help from a radio report is if you are within visual range of what you are reporting. The next qualifying criteria is whether anything is within their radius/range to be able to assist. Only after both parameters are completed satisfactorily does the game engine throw that imaginery dice to decide whether help/assistance is sent.
