Those are great looking as usual in you

But what I miss in DW still is many more civilian (merchant, specifically) ships, as the ones existing currently have become too easy to identify. A pack with a dozen new different merchant ships with different signatures would make games much more interesting

We could add additional sonar signatures for "sub classes" of merchant ship. We already added a Boston Whaler fishing boat, its sonar sig is of a "Powerboat" like all the whalers in 3.10 but its found in the Fishing Boat class in the mission editor so the AI will link it as "Fishing Boat".

As for other merchants expect a Seabee and LNG in 3.11.

Great stuff!
Japanese navy is really something we should not neglect. Especiallly its ASW AIRforce, even bigger than US navy's

The new Narco Sub semi-submersible "Bigfoot I" type.

I'm working on a series of these for another project, but they will prob be imported in to LWAMI at some point. So expect to see some exotic ones, like a pair of true submarine "narco subs" (ie ones that fully dive and surface- not just run decks-a-wash).

TLAM you are tempting me out of retirement.

You see your subs with double hulls, are you basically joining two cylinders together? Like with the Soryu and a box with the Sang 'O'

Just a thought but something I tried when I was making similar subs that had a turtle deck and joined the main hull I cut away a hole in the main hull and the extruded edges and 'sculpted' the turtle deck. Meant I didn't have any wasted polygons.

They are fine looking models though.

I'm assuming you used the "Face Extrude" modifier?

Tried it and it does give the look of a tacked on deck.

But I'm not sure what purpose cutting a hole in the mesh first does.

Maybe I did it a little wrong?

If you every come back from retirement you are more than welcome in the LWAMI team.

EDIT: Finalized Bigfoot 1:

Tried a new style of mapping using only 3ds max, I think it turned out nice.

The Mediterranean will no longer be safe... Here is a WIP shot of the Tir II missile boat. Built in Iran to North Korean Specs and sold to Syria. Its armaments includes up to 4 C-802 ASMs and a 7.62mm LMG.
