The political class seems a-bit concerned that a growing number of people see USA's news media for what it realy is. A BS pulpit.

Amen to that. I really don't miss having Fox to watch. The media really has taken a more "entertaining" angle. Fox News, CNN and the like would be great outlets if all they did was report the news. But they don't report news, they feed us opinion.

See thats the thing. You choose not to watch them. No one forces you to watch them which is as it should be.

But the fact is that conservative media outlets wether its just enterainment or not are sucessfull and it drives the lib's crazy.

So basically they want the successfull outlets to poney up to keep the less sucessfull ones afloat.

Ah okay, I think I'm catching your drift now, SteamWake. I'd have to read into this awhile before coming to a solid conclusion. I'll tell ya, my initial reaction was "Why don't they put that money into schools?". The companies that don't adapt quickly to change are gonna be left in the dust, and that's the way it should be.

Far be it for the feds to make wise use of money.
