Ok, I think i understand thfeu58 a little bit...
I open \data\Submarine\ NSS*** I look inside ***.cfg NSS_Uboat2A.cfg have this line: StormConditions=9,0.4;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1] So... what do I do now...? ----- Hmmm, If I understand this cfg line correctly, I should not be able to fire the gun over 9 m/s wind or 0.4/1 rain. Well, I can fire the gun at 15 m/s wind, with the "submerged crew". If I remember SH3 correctly, I could not man the gun in bad weather... correct? Last edited by Jonny-Dog; 06-14-10 at 07:26 AM. |

You're the Captain. Eyeball it and if you think the sea looks too heavy, then don't order the deck gun to be manned.

Should I shadow this vessel for X hours/days until the weather gets better, or just pop out of the water and sink it? If the sim allows me to use the gun in 15 m/s, I'll do it. However, If I can't man the gun due to the weather, I have only two options: Shadow it or forget it.... |
