It's a lot of thrust. Quite ironic considering the actual payload is not much bigger than a car, heck, one single MIRV warhead in the 300-400 kiloton region is about the height of a man. Still, have to get it up into the optimum re-entry position.

People are fun like that No worries though, Oberon. Nuclear overkill is largely a myth. It would only work if everyone on the planet conveniently gathered into unsheltered circular areas to await missile strikes. In the event of a nuclear war, much of the planet's populace would likely survive, at least for a while.
