BP is normal and steady, O2 sat is good, she's aware, trying to move, etc.

Right now it's still wait and see on infection, however. IN a day or so, she'll have passed a threshold where they'd usually have seen massive infection if that was to happen.

Poor thing is entirely bald now, except her head, lol.

My almost 4 year old thought I should use one of my guns and kill the owl, or that princess should be armed.

I think she'd need a backpack-mounted CIWS of some kind.

At 5-6 pounds, dunno how to mount the CIWS, though...

Assuming she survives, the question is where will she live. She's an outside cat*, and even should she move inside, we have a doggy door. In our experience it takes about 2 in and outs by the dog for a cat to figure out the door, at which point she's once again owl-bait. Then there is the fact that I think I'm allergic, so having her outside was nice.

*she lives outside, but has a small princess-sized (smaller than coyote and bobcat) opening to my workshop that is the front of the carport—it's adobe on 3 sides, and framed on the 4th, so she in fact has an inside space, though unheated—she then has a kitty house in there with a heated bed in winter, totally enclosed (plus food, water, and a litter box should she not want to go out in the wind, rain, or snow).
