Just as a color note, the deck was covered in a black wood-preserving coating, so it was actually black when commissioned and gradually got lighter as it aged and wore away, revealing the water-damaged wood underneath.

Fantastic skin. My u-boat has been out at sea for so damn long this will make it look like it has and not like I have been hiding in another port for months haha
