Default If you were able to save only 1 copy of game what would it be. Remember only one!

So which electronic game would you save if you could only save one and just one title and would likely to be stuck with it for at least several years.

Edit: mention or usage of Mods of the chosen game is okay but the game title must be mentioned of course.

Or you can't be bothered?
----------------------------------------------------
The list

Arma 2_________________________________________: 2 votes

rFactor_________________________________________: 3 votes

Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness & Beyond the dark portal___: 1 vote

Eve____________________________________________: 1 vote

Rome Total War__________________________________: 2 votes

Ultimate Ultima Collection__________________________: 1 vote

X3TC__________________________________________: 1 vote

Footbal Manager_________________________________:1 vote

Silent Hunter 3__________________________________: 1 vote

Half Life 2 Orange box_____________________________: 1 vote

World War 2 Online_______________________________: 1 vote

World of Warcraft________________________________: 1 vote

Janes WW2 Flight Simulator________________________: 1 vote

Out of the Park 11________________________________: 1 vote

War in the Pacific: Admirals Edition___________________: 1 vote

Hearts of Iron 2__________________________________: 1 vote

I'll try updating this list everyday if there were a mistake you're welcome to PM me or post my err here in this thread. Each person can only cast one vote(1 title) and it doesn't have to be PC game but must count as an electronic game so console games are okay. I'll not mention any mods in the list even when it's greatest playing with them.

For me it's definitely ArmA 2.
I like the pace, the gameplay, the immersion, the felt fear for my virtual life, the reward feeling, the many platforms to control, the graphics, the 3D interior of platforms including the numerous cockpit and it has got unlimited replay value especially online.

But what I really long for is the introduction of the British forces, the German, French(the Le Clerc is just too tempting), Chinese(along with Chinese or Asian map) and Israeli forces along with Syrian and Hizbullah look alike and a fitting map(terrain) to go with them. I'm drooling just imagining this. This gem has a lot and I mean a lot of potential.

Funny thing is I usually despise first person shooter kind of game because I think they are mostly a barbaric, mindless kind of game LOL but something about ArmA 2 is very humane because soldiers are vulnerable and lives are precious and war is a very expensive(requires many tools and it's even costlier to lose) and dangerous business. For one I'm vehemently against and disgusted by counter strike(since beginning) and haven't touched any single fps for more than 5 years but then again ArmA 2 is what every FPS should be.

ArmA 2 with ACE 2 mods and online warfare game...ummm

It would have to be rFactor and approx 300GB of mods.

My collection is all Hard copy's...

but since some don't run on my modern system due incompability or lost the CD

Since I lost the disc I would go for a new copy of Warcraft 2: Bnet edition*
(that's Warcraft 2: tides of Darkness & Beyond the Dark portal , the ability to play online and on modern systems)

I do have the original discs of Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness and Warcraft 2: beyond the dark portal from 1996 but the discs are so worn out and only run on the systems of the early Win95 era.

Arma2 with mods, if they're allowed, would be my choice too, although it'd be a tough one. IL2 and Falcon 4:AF would be great runner-ups, but Arma2 would still win due to the variation it provides.

It would probably be rFactor, it's always fun to race.

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War (III), not only because it's one of the best wargames ever made, but because the versatility and amount of content available for it is huge.

Ultimate Ultima Collection, the one with all the Ultima games. Technically one title as they were all released together

That would keep me busy for years and years

Yeah, lots of tracks and cars.

If no extra software or mods were allowed, only game disc, i would go for Rome: Total War.

Combat Mission: Strike Force or WiTP: AE. Except...what about if I take editors into account? Has to be Armed Assault 2....or Neverwinter Nights 2....Yes...One of those four...

Naah. I'm fooling myself. Those are all fine games but, based on how many hours I've actually wasted on it, it really has to be Football Manager.

Thats a hard question as i would like to save many.

It would have to be a game i would never tire off and know years later I will still want to load her up. So any of the Silent Hunter games from 3 upwards.

Others might be Neverwinter nights series 1 & 2, Warcraft 3.

Does my copy of steam count?

If not the Orange box with Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, and Portal. Or when Portal 2 and Episode 3 comes out, hopefully they'll have a pack with everything.

Mods are okay

My favorite type of play in ArmA 2 is online warfare where Blue fight against red team and they both build bases and churning out war machines.
Best played with ACE 2 though as it adds numerous units into the game.

I can understand why a tyrant feel so invincible when he had a T72 lol. One of those could take a a lightly defended small town even when it was defended by some light armors. ACE adds T72B(with ERA blocks) and T72BA(tidier ERA blocks). They are both quite ugly(cluttered looking) thus becoming pretty in itself. Very good model these ACE 2 developers came up with.

I must say within the past 10 years or so mods are getting bigger and meaner. Often their works surpassed the quality of effort of the original game even.
Passion obliterates obligation I guess.
