Now, if someone can work out how to make those guys vanish from the bunks when action stations is called. It bothers me when in combat to see those guys lounging around as if nothing were going on.

Any luck with those new ship mates? I don't know anything about 3d work, but I was wondering if it might be easier to model them as objects under blankets with just their head poking out? A blanketed body is pretty abstract. |

That's a good idea.
Model them under a blanket to save polys then use those to do a bit better detail else where. Like the heads. |

![]() FM's crew compartments are off-the-chart excellent, but do feel a little too empty. I think the sleeping crew members is a perfect way to give it a sense of more life without straining the FPS! |
