If you disabled the online save sync, the saves are not saved on their server.

What is happening is the game is sync'n your saves with the saves located in the launcher folder on your hard drive. NOT THEIR SERVER!!!

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\SH5\data\cfg\SaveGames

is being sync'd with

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\storage\anVzdGluMTUwMjc3\3

You have been playing online.... Thats how their DRM works. And you will be online as long as SH5 has this DRM.
