[REL] Radio Saigon on air now! - Page 3

All I get is static.

All I get at frequency 122 is static.

This mod was installed with JSGME after adding the radio channel to radio.ini. The readme says to add the channel to radio.cfg but I have no such file. Is the ini file what you ment. Please help all this mod does is make static.

It should be radio.ini and can be found in SH4>data>sound>radio

Nothing but static. Although the channel 122 does appear.

I assume you have check to insure the Radio Saigon folder is in the Radio folder. Not sure what the content of the mod is (music? events?) but if it is event only it is possible there are no events scheduled for the time frame you are listening to.

I had similar problems with radio stations and then found that it was because I was using win7 (same with vista) and installed in the Program folder. I made a setup outside of the Program folder and had no problems.

There is a Saigon folder inside the Radio folder. In fact I can dial in Radio Saigon. When I mouse over the radio the balloon says 122 Radio Saigon. The year is 1942 and there are plenty of items that begin with that year.

Are there any files inside the Saigon folder? The station does come with a few songs included, and no events. If there are files there, try playing them with your media player. If they're not there or won't play, it's possible the files were corrupted when you extracted the station, or maybe when JSGME installed it.

BTW, I was going to announce this after uploading, but I figure I can do it now. I've put together a set of 670 french songs that I'll be uploading to my music hosting sites later today. Now you don't have to listen to the same few songs over and over again on Radio Saigon.
