Arrr, this be true.

But differnces in opinion are good, it means we are all thinking.
For any two people that are always in agreement then only one is doing the thinking.

It seems to me you missed the whole point, which is that both sides are right and entitled to their opinion. Your last line was just as bad as his.

Love that line!

Then maybe you should play Aces Of The Deep Or Silent Service, oldboy! And give the ones that love SH5 a break. I've never seen a better made subsim before, I really can't understand those damn whiners lurking around here.

Very immature post.

Agreed.

It's also a good example of the lame Ad Hominim response to criticisms of this game (or whining as he calls it). Instead of attacking the person, tackle the crticisms of the person you think is 'whining' and why you think his points are wrong.

If his points are valid, you calling him a whiner is going to get you labeled as weak-minded, easily-pleased fanboy

Also seems I should have multi-quoted this post to include the post you were replying too

I'm surprised you all can't spot a gimmick account when you see one.

I'm sure that more than one of us thought about that... but what can we really do about it other than to report it?

I'm sure that Cowboy_Joe's account wont last long here regardless. He's just another troll and so far ALL of his posts reflect that.

I'd pay good money to find out who it belongs to though. I've got one or two thoughts on that.

Again you miss the point, which isn't about what games are good or bad. The point is that Chicolatino's very first post was about what he saw as a war brewing, and others disagreed. Your very first post was to attack him and tell him to "**** off!" and then tell him he wasn't wanted here.

He has a right to express his opinion, as do you. The difference is he didn't attack somebody for expressing an opinion, and neither did I. You did, and that's what's wrong with pretty much every post you've made so far.

I won't tell you to leave, because that would be just as wrong, and also because I don't want you to leave. But you need to learn about propriety and proper discussion and debate.

And WELCOME ABOARD, both of you!

And WELCOME ABOARD,!
That's OK, Steve, I am not mad about that, we all have the right to have an opinion, but it matters the way we are saying what we have in mind as well. Thank you for your welcome!

This thread reminds me of the Monty Python skit where the guy goes to a shop that sells arguments.
