Its an older driver but there are no up to date one's.

Did SH3 previously work on this notebook or this is the first time you're trying?
I have checked many sites.
1st ATI, 2nd ACER 3rd google, 4th tweakers.net a Dutch hardware and software and everything computer related site.

Yes it does run fine on it.

However it looks like lady Jumbo has been sitting on my screen.
Everything looks squeezed.
Now I'm confused! What happened to the CTDs? Or is that on another computer?

Are you saying you have no CTD problem on the notebook and that your only problem is the display resolution? If so, simply search The Community Manual for "display resolution". Follow the instructions carefully.
