Now, if my wealth were absolute, I'd probably get myself a nuclear powered (or at least long range) submarine but w/a deck and all kinds of amenities. I'd expect to be on the surface most of the time, and would dive just to have a smooth ride when seas are rough. And there WOULD be a watertight hangar with floatplane/flying boat!! Or just get a huge amphibious plane because I'm not sure there are many places in the world which can service a civilian submarine.

how about the Walraversijde open air museum in Belgium?

It's got trenches, tunnels and bunkers from both the 1st and 2nd WW

The Belgian beaches are generally less good than the Dutch ones though
