Or for that matter on a sub? OT what is the longest snorkel on an operating sub these days?

I wouldn't want to go 40m in that thing...I remember the diving pool in the local baths when I was a kid...you dove from something like 20m (at the highest platform level) into an area 15m deep and your ears would 'pop' at about 10m
