The Radeon 9250 (AGP, 128MB) works just fine with SH3.
Make sure you get the OMEGA Drivers (optimized for us gamers) rather than the stock ATI Drivers - which are crap! (you can actually see the difference when you run the display tests under dxdiag)... I am running version 2.6.12 which was quite stable with the 9250 card, but the latest drivers are I believe 2.6.53. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ ....go get em!
