Convoy questions

Just sitting here waiting for a nice big juicy convoy coming my, 16 merchants

and trying to figure out there movements.

Ok cheating a wee bit as I have external camera on, I have zoomed over to the convoy and there are saxons blowing....does this mean that they have spottted me or is this normal..?

And has anyone got any good links for convoy tactics to help me understand there formations, movements etc.

me feels this is going to be a long one

....Im counting at least 9 DD's
