I can vouch for the AV8R, a good, cheap stick all round. Though if you have the moneys, I'd go for something a little more expensive.

How do they feel? I have a Saitek X52, and the stick just feels like something you'd find at the Dollar store. (The throttle was excellent, though, which made it even worse)

You fellas should look into Logitec's G940.
I've been through them all, from thrustmaster to saitek, and this system beats them all and includes stick, throttle, and pedals in one sweet system.

It looks good but both the logitech sticks I've owned died or had calibration issues within a year. Enough to void the return period but not what I expect out of stick.

If money wasn't an issue I get this:

+ the add on pedals and engine/fuel management panel.
