Is this something that makes the dit-dat-dit sound effect at the beginning of the "neue funkspruch herr kaleun" sound file much shorter? Because I've been meaning to look for or ask about a way to do that.

Usually by the time my radioman finally gets to the point of telling me there's a new message I've already finished reading the darn thing.
