They did that to where I was living almost 10 years ago. Best thing that could have happened. They got their land (which they did nothing to) my family got a new place to live, one that was about 30 years newer and not falling apart with age, and is in walking distance to three diverse commercial areas, parks, libraries and my job, instead of being in waking distance from the airport, a military facility, a bowling alley, a gas station and a slaughter house...

My new place is twice the size, and has five times the insulation.
