The Jap tanks armor is measured in MM

. I think a bb gun penetrate them.

IE: Type 89a max armor: 17mm

Panzer iv: max 50mm
Panther: 100mm

Niki, it takes about 8mm of steel to stop a 7.62mm round, but yeah, japanese tanks in WW2 were underwhelming in all aspects.
