Had quite a few issues myself with AA on an NVidia card. Any setting over 2x woudl cause a black screen
 Finally - happened upon someone else's list of of their settings from the NVidia Control Panel on here and they had their AA set to 16xQ. Tried it myself and wouldn't you know, but she was working gorgeously and smoother than silk to boot!  Can't remeber what the "Q" stands for but it works... Screw it!
