Going to war over financial reasons, boy would that lead to lots of pending wars! On top of my list would be UN against USA, as Ive heard USA covers 25% of UN's budget - but they havent payed for years....why should they, its not like UN can do something about it (rather than ask nicely)?!

Have Iceland said that they will pay eventually?

On a side note:Iceland got unwillingly occupied during ww2, the allies needed staging bases for inter-atlantic-transport and ports for sub-hunters. Iceland protested against this intrusion but the fight against axis forces weighted more than caring for the wishes of the icelandic population, now how is that different from the germans annexing denmark and norway? No anglo-saxian historybook will tell you about this. Nor will it cover the fact that allied agents sunk swedish moored destroyers during ww2, killing neutral swedish fighting men in the process - rather than risking the ships somehow falling in german hands.

Corporate news: Now, scandinavias biggest airfleet SAS (scandinavian air service) wants full compensation for money lost due to the volcano eruption...which is; grounded aircraft. Why? Should icecream-companys have taxpayed compansations for rainy summers and money lost? **** happens, suck it up - as individuals do.
