Ok wait a sec....
you have a 57" that doesn't take the input in any plug - though it recognizes it.... and a 22" that does work.... same cable and pc... Now - troubleshooting this means making some logical conclusions.... If the cable and pc work every time on the 22" - then you can eliminate them from being the problem. That leaves the 57" device. But where? You said it detects the input on them - but doesn't display. So the physical plugs are good - the chances of all three crapping out at the same time is small enough we can drop that idea. So the question is - where is the one point of failure? I don't know alot about tv's - but my guess here is that all three inputs likely use the same processor chip or board for controlling / decoding purposes. IF that is the case - then the chip / control board is likely the problem. Again - this is speculation - but its the only thing I can see that makes sense given the description.
