I like this one... Well, people should be more patient, and yes, Ubisoft could only do a better job at public relations and communicate the true reason for the delay (they hardly could do worse; maybe are again think of ways to attribute the delay to a pirate DDos attack again or so...). But maybe the devs will thus get the opportunity to deliver a ground breaking patch at least (not that this is equal to saying they released a pretty poor &/or buggy game in first place...). But maybe they are just implementing and upgraded scheme of the OSP-DRM in the exe instead to make the cracks useless again...

Actually Thomas Jefferson said that way back in 1786.

There were buggy games released back then, so things weren't all that different. I can think of several tape loading games that couldn't be finished and two that couldn't be started or would crash. The way round it was to enter the correct POKEs, so not only did you have to wait for the patch, it would often be a community patch and... you'd have to type the patch loader in yourself from the magazine if it wasn't a poke or you didn't have the right hardware like a Multiface. Thankfully you don't have to type in 486 Megs worth of patch these days.

I'd say the fact it's not here yet speaks for itself. Don't know how long the delay is, but it's not gonna make April 20th.

Is that kind of comment really necessary. What exactly do you hope to accomplish with that kind of remark?

Seriously, I would really like to understand the intent of that post. Was it to sneer at other people. Was it to try to insult people? Was it intended to make you feel superior?

JCC

ps: Perhaps the reason you are not hearing from the " Ubi and dev cheerleaders" is that A) they are adults who have jobs and are at work, B) they understand the adult concept that it is better to wait for something to be done correctly and C) they are adult enought to be enjoying the game as it is. Notice a theme running through those three points?

Yeah, I could care less about some deadline. I'd rather have a functional patch. They rushed the game, lets not add insult to injury.
