I've been playing SHIII since the first day and have seen starshells from a convoy only once.
I love the leigh lights and searchlights mod but it does seem a bit overkill sometimes. The idea of randomizing merchants with searchlights seems like a good one to me.

Since Sansal has the 3D tool, is it possible to add running lights to everything?

There was some discussion about this a while ago, along the lines of using the building nighttime window textures to cause neutral ships to light up. I don't think anything came of it, but perhaps with these new tools.... :hmm:

Unfortunately, I don't see any planes with Leigh light from the game in this post, except small vessel
I'd like to see screenshot from the game with plane using Leigh light.
BTW, sometimes I don't see any screenshots in posts, I don't know why
